Brad, Kristen and Catherin,
My deepest condolences to the Kaufman Family during this difficult time. Sending prayers of comfort and support to you all. I remember Nathan and Harley would play when they were little during the District Meetings in the kid suite. Nathan was a sweet boy and made Harley feel welcome and at ease. Heaven has a new Angel in Charge...... and his name is Nathan James Kaufman.

Being the oldest I had the pleasure of watching all my younger cousins grow up. Nathan was nothing short of special starting at a young age. Nathan was extremely smart and compassionate. He had a smile that would light up the room and a presence that surrounded him unlike others I have ever felt. I remember times of watching old war movies with nonno that he would either find on TV or ones that he would get shipped to the house. We would all camp out in the living room on the couch bed because the back room was to scary when we were kids.
As the years progressed things evolved and we went from being a family of all boys to now having a girl cousin. We all had no idea what to think of baby Catherin brining her tea set into the boy's room while we played madden on the N64.
Auntie Kris getting mad at us when we didn't include her. Nathan always stood by his sister, and when the rest of the cousins would be too busy doing boy stuff, Nathan would make a point to be with his sister. That's the moment I knew that the love that Nathan had for his sister was larger than anything I have ever seen before between siblings.
That love didn't end there, as Nathan and Catherin continued to grow I saw that bond grow to one that should be envied. Over the past few days as I have had time to reflect on the impact that Nathan made in so many lives, it brings tears to my eyes. Not tears of grief or sadness. They are tears of pride and bliss. I have seen through videos and stories that Nathan had nothing short of the same impact to others as he did to me and the Kaufman family.
Nathan had a bright smile that could light a room. He had a large heart, a witty sense of humor and loved his family. He was dedicated and worked hard to achieve more and become the great person he was. I reflect on the fun memories and times we had with Nathan. At this most difficult time, I know that Nathan would want us to celebrate his life. Celebrating his life, and carrying on his passion and heart for everything in this world. I personally rejoice in the knowledge that I will see my little cousin one day in the kingdom of heaven and we should all rejoice in that same way. God bless everyone.

Brad, Christen and Catherin,

Words cannot express the sorrow and feelings of support that our family has for your family. No family should ever have to experience this and know that we are thinking of you and praying for each of you. It is very apparent that Nathan touched so many in his 24 years and I hope all of those whom he touched will reach out to you and share their stories of him with you. All our love - Dan Lumma and Family.

Kaufman family,

It was such a pleasure to have the chance to know your Nate. From the moment we met him, we knew that he was a special one. He quickly became family to us. He carried himself unlike any other boy of his age, with such a kind heart and great sense of humor. His strong determination and drive towards life was both inspiring and contagious. We will cherish the memories and the countless laughs that we shared with him. Our hearts are absolutely broken for you. Know that you are in our constant thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nate,
nothing I can say can fully describe how incredible of a person you were. Your charisma and intellect was unmatched, easily one of the smartest people I knew. On top of that you were also the funniest and kindest guy. You never failed to make me feel included in the group. We became fast friends and I am forever grateful for that friendship. You will live on forever in the memories we made together, Nate. Love you forever,
Hannah

My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to you and your family during this unimaginably difficult time. I pray for peace and understanding for all of you.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My heart goes out to the entire Kaufman family through this tough time. Nathan was a great guy who everyone loved to be around. He was always able to put a smile on people's faces. I will never forget the experiences we had from lacrosse in high school to our time at ole miss. Nate and I sat together at every Ole Miss football game, the good and the bad, but my favorite by far was the Ole Miss and Alabama game the first time we beat them and stormed the field. That will be a memory I will cherish for a lifetime. Much love and god bless. May you Rest In Peace Nate, love you brother.
