NATHAN "NAT" MELAMED

I was shocked to learn of Nat's death at the last Chamber Music Society concert of this year. I knew him through the ACLU and liked and respected him very much.

I was so sorry to hear of Nat's passing. He was a delight to talk to I always enjoyed our conversations

Nat was a pillar for chamber music in Pittsburgh. We are a stronger community from his dedication to the Arts. Nat will be missed.

I will miss His quick wit, frankness & wonderful sense of humor. His courage, hopefullness & positivity throughout his prolonged illness was truely inspirational to My Children & I

Nat inspired so many of us with his thoughtful, careful reasoning and impassioned eloquence. His wisdom grew from a sharp mind and keen appreciation of history. Always above reproach, Nat's amiable nature and considerate manner made him not only eminently likable but also powerfully persuasive. His presence will be missed but his impact will endure.

Our sympathies to Nat's family. We met Nat though the 14th Ward Independent Democratic Club and also spent time at his condo in Mojacar. He will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Nat's passing. He was a delight to all and will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry to read of Nat's death. He was such a joy to be with, and a great and wonderful leader of the progressive forces. My memories of his wonderful smile and support over the past 25 years make me feel so lucky to have known him. He was a kind, gentle, and loving friend to all.
