Nathan William Vanderpool, beloved grandson, son and brother, age 32, passed away unexpectedly. He was much loved and will be sorely missed. Nathan was a lover of history and the outdoors. Everyone who met him loved him. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Ice Bears, Phillies, and Eagles. He was a 1996 graduate of Salisbury High School, Allentown, PA, attended Penn College of Technology, Williamsport, PA, member of the Civil War Heritage Preservation Society, active in Boy Scout Troop # 340, Minsi Trail Counsel, Bethlehem, PA. He was employed by Komyo, Loudon. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Brown Evans; grandfather, Donald Earl Evans; brother, Karl Earl Vanderpool. Survivors include his parents, Joanne Evans and husband, Eric Quimby of Bethlehem, PA; Barry Vanderpool and wife Doris of New Smyrna Beach, FL; brother, Chester Vanderpool of Bethlehem, PA; grandparents, Victoria Rutledge Vanderpool and Lawrence Vanderpool of Maryville; stepsisters, Kristin Orach and husband, Alan of Bethlehem, PA, Karen Bartee and husband David of Winchester, VA; special cousins, Haley and Emma Ferguson both of Maryville, Jarrod Mackes of Nazareth, PA; numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN. The interment will be in Richmond United Methodist Church Cemetery in Richmond, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital, 2018 Clinch Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37916 or The Civil War Preservation Trust, 1156 15th Street NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC 20005.
