Nathaniel Lamont "Nate" Fite

Nathaniel Lamont Fite, affectionately known as Nate, passed away on August 10, 2024, in White Plains, New York. Born on July 27, 1966, in New Haven, Connecticut, he was 58 years old at the time of his passing. He was born to the late Henry Fite and Danielle Fite and was raised by his grandparents the late Orf Lee Tate and Lillie Tate in Atmore, Alabama. Nate is remembered for his vibrant spirit and cherished presence in the lives of all who knew him.
Nate worked as a chef at Iron Tomato for over eight years and at numerous restaurants where his cooking was loved by many. He was a multi-talented person who loved to cook, make others laugh, and of course eat. He was in a committed relationship with Ms Sharon Bowers and they loved to travel.
He suddenly departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in White Plains, New York.
Nate is survived by companion Sharon Bowers and children Sterling Fite and Precious Walker; four brothers Michael (Gloria) Fite, Joey (Iva) Tate, Charles Fite, Nico (Maria) Fite and half-sister Syreda Fite as well as a special like a brother Kenneth Barron; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and wonderful friends.
