I can't believe you're gone...I truly can't even process this right now even still. I named my son after you, years before this terrible day, you will live on through your godson and will never be forgotten. You're my brother and you always will be. I will talk to you every day still and tell you stories of the good times we had just like we always did when we'd get together. Burying you yesterday completely crushed me. To carry you to your final resting place was both a privilege and an honor, but also the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I love you buddy and I'll be thinking about you until I see you again. It's not goodbye...it's, I'll see you later. I love you Henry

Shirrel and Darrell: Our heartfelt empathy goes out to your family. Burying a child is one of life's most difficult experiences for a parent. Our prayers are with you. Coach Henry and family, what a great joy it was to know Nathan! I'll always remember his big smile and mischievous behavior. We had a lot of fun running through the gym and helping our coaching parents during the good ole Ramsey days...he was such a sweet boy! I hope you can all find strength and peace. Lots of hugs and prayers, Ashley (Fitzhugh) Ahlert

Darrell, Shirrell, Ashley, Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Charles and all the rest of the family; my heart is broken for your loss. The little time I spent with Nathan it was obvious the joy that he lived his life, the joy he shared with others, and I know he will be greatly missed. My prayer is that the love and the joy you shared and will share again will bring peace and comfort to the pain and sorrow you are now experiencing.

Family and Friends of Nathan,
I am very sorry for your loss and send my prayers and condolences. I had a lot of great times hanging out with Nathan and was fortunate to know so much good in him - his encouraging, optimistic nature (which was always strong and helped me a lot several times, even when wrapped with sarcasm), his quickness to be helpful, his sharp wit and constant hilarious comments and perspectives, and his subtle but always deep insight that made you think as much as laugh. I wish like crazy I could see my friend again and I am terribly sorry for the loss of your son which I cannot even imagine.

Dear Shirrell, Darrell and Ashley, Aunt Dorothea and Uncle Charles; my thoughts and prayers are with you that you may find your strength and the support you need in those who love you. Know that I will have you constantly in my prayers this week, even though I cannot be there to wrap my arms around you. I will always remember Nathan as the wonderful little boy who laughed and chased Katie around the yard.
With all my Love,

Robbie and Paul Rust

Shirrell, Coach Henry, and Ashley-
I can't even imagine the pain you are feeling right now or the incredible feeling of loss. Nathan and I had actually gotten back in touch through Facebook and messaged back and forth frequently. This news has just blown me away. But I hope that we can all find comfort knowing that God's plan is always greater than ours even when we can't see it or understand it.... But we can find some peace knowing he is HOME! Because we all know this is not our home, it is but a moment in time for us to do our best to reflect Christ in ourselves to others. My parent really wanted to be here for the funeral proceedings, but my mother is just too sick. They send their love, prayers, and condolences. However, I will be there as a long time church and family friend, and also for Nathan. Prayer of love and peace for you all.
