Nathaniel "Lou" Lewis entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Sr. and Doris R. Lewis, 2 brothers, Raymond Jr. and Jermone Lewis, sister Linda Carter, a Godchild Trena Ann Simmions and nephew Raymond Lewis III. He is survived by his son Taj Lewis of Lake Ridge, Virginia; 3 brothers: Ronald, Thaddeus Sr., and Kenneth (Yarita) Lewis; five sisters: Carol (Lawrence) Simmions, Doris G. Sykes, Andrea Hubbard, Deontrenise L. Macklin and Maureen Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins' family, and friends. Relatives, friends of the family, members of Greater Evergreen Baptist Church, St. John Divine Baptist Church, VA Hospital of New Orleans, VA Hospital of Houston, TX are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 9:30am at Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Hwy., River Ridge, LA 70123. Pastor Charles E. Garrison officiating. Visitation will be at 8am until services. Interment on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 10:00 am at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr., Slidell, LA 70460. Entrusted to the caring staff of: Richardson Funeral Home of Jefferson, River Ridge, (504) 469-2243.

Well Nathaniel, I guess dinner is over no more cakes and pies, it was good while it last, now my friend all the weight jokes are gone for now , we´ll meet again , to the Lewis Family you have my Deepest Sympathy and Love always.
