Neal, you were a 2nd dad to me since I was 4 years old but our bond truly blossomed when you moved to the city. I saw you more than my own family most weeks lol. Every teenage/college heartache and stupid mistake I made, you were always by my side and made sure I was ok. I was so comfortable going to you for most things rather than anyone else because I always knew you had my best interest at hand. Whether you wanted to punish me as your own kid or not, you always played it cool and protected me and I thank you for that. I'll miss our dinners trying out every restaurant that northern liberties offered. You were not just the best dad to Stevie and Ryan, but the best role model and friend. Thanks for teaching us what unconditional love is. Your loyalty, love, sarcasm, laugh and smile will always be in my heart. Love you so much and miss you already, Nealie nugg. Xoxoxo

So sorry to hear about the passing of Neal. I was a colleague of his at Struble. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

So sorry to hear that such a wonderful person has left us. I was his neighbor and have fond memories of Neal and his loving parents Irene and Joel and his brother Andy. Ryan plays ice hockey with my son Taylor and our hearts go out to Ryan and his sister. We loved Neal as everyone who met him did. He will be sorely missed by all who were lucky to know him. Irene, Joel once told me something I carry with me today " It doesn't matter what religion we are, there is no Hell and we are all going to the same place". So very sorry for the loss of such a vibrant and wonderful man. Our condolences to his family, especially Ryan. Our son manolo played soccer with Ryan for many years. I have known Neal since I was in fourth grade. I have so many fond memories of him. His laugh was contagious and he had such a wonderful sense of humor. You will be deeply missed. Neal lived his life to the fullest. He touched everyone who knew him through his gentle, caring, and loving demeanor. We were brother-in-laws, and I always thought of Neal like a brother, having many special memories through the years. He was a friend as well. I can thank Neal for getting me back into playing soccer after college, as we played on the same team for a number of years...even driving down to Tennessee for a memorable tournament a long time ago. Neal, you are loved and incredibly missed. Stevie, Ryan, and Irene - my deepest condolences. Rest In Peace Neal.
