Ned Jackson Obituary
Ned was born on Jan. 16, 1967, in Jacksonville, the son of Ned N. Jackson and Wiletta (Fortune) Jackson. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1985. He united in holy matrimony to Renata McGee. For 24 years he worked construction for Benich Construction, Local Union 477 and Truman Flatt and Son Company.
Ned was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and auto racing fan.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Renata Jackson; mother, Wiletta Jackson; children, Jovonya (Jacques Jr.) Seay, Ronesha Jackson; godsons, Trevon (Bianca) Harris and Terris and Tyris Miller; grandchildren, Tyron, Ja'Neisseya, Jacques III and Javontez; sister, Keasha (Arnetrice) Smith; special loved ones, Dog West, Demond Harris Jr., and the Rouland family.
Ned was preceded in death by his father, Ned N. Jackson.
Services celebrating his life will be held noon Saturday at Mount Emory Baptist Church, 426 South Church, Jacksonville, with visitation one hour before service. Burial: Jacksonville East Cemetery. Memorials to: Mount Emory Baptist Church. Professional Services entrusted to Walker Funeral Service, Springfield, walkerfs.com.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ronee's passing. My sincere & deepest condolences go out to the family. As a young boy living down the street from me on Illinois Ave he was always helping me in my garden or helping me with my 2 daughters, Tiffany & Danielle. He was always so very kind & helpful, just a joy to have around. Prayers to you all.

I am so sad to read this. Ronee was a dear friend of mine. He worked at Viles Buick with my ex husband and I got to know him from there. Ronee loved to make people laugh and he was very good at doing that. I will miss him so much. My prayers go out to his Mom and his wife and children.
