It is only today I learnt of your passing, my regret is that I never got to thank you for looking after me and allaying my fears over the past 25 years, I have and will miss our chats about our next holidays and will miss my last appointment of the day, of a Wednesday, every 6 months. Neil saved so many lives including mine. My sincere sympathy to his family. I will always be grateful for his care and humour and honesty. We will miss a great dr. Hopefully the many students he encouraged will follow in his footsteps in regional areas. He has left a lasting legacy.

Yes, a gentleman he was! So saddened to hear of Dr Bright' s passing. 'My favourite Surgeon'. He was a passionate man dedication to saving lives of which I was one. A specialist who really cared and took time out of his busy schedule to listen. His skill, knowledge and compassion will be greatly missed within this region and beyond. My sincere condolences to his treasured family. My heart breaks for you.
