Neil E. Fuchs

Neil E. Fuchs, 57 of New Hartford, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 31, 2014 while vacationing in Stuart, Florida. Neil was born in Staten Island, NY on August 9, 1956, son of Joan Salerno of Stuart, FL and the late Bob Fuchs of Satellite Beach, FL, and grew up in South Windsor. Neil preferred to spend his time outdoors whether it was hiking, cycling, golfing, playing tennis or just relaxing on the beach. He was presently employed with Jacobs Vehicle Systems in Bloomfield as a Director of Product Development Engineering. As a committed Jacobs team member for over 36 years, Neil will be greatly missed by his countless friends and colleagues. Neil's memory is forever cherished by his two children, Michelle Fuchs and Sean Fuchs, both of New Hartford; his mother, Joan Salerno and her husband Frank of Stuart, FL; a brother, Chris Fuchs and his wife Diana of Rockledge, FL; two sisters, Cathy Martin and her husband Herbie of Winter Springs, FL and Donna Biancardi and her husband Steve of South Windsor. He also leaves 4 nephews, 3 nieces, a grandniece and a grandnephew. Neil was a loving and devoted father to his two children, Michelle and Sean.
