Neil Thomas Gould, age 49 of Naperville, IL, formerly of Lexington, passed away after a long illness on May 25, 2011. He was born the second son of Thomas and Rita (Jarozeuski) Gould of Lexington. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School and UK College of Engineering. His career had been in the computer software industry working for Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks and Atlantic Business Development Corporation in Knoxville, Denver and Chicago. In 2000 he was a kidney transplant recipient from Loyola University Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Cook Gould of Naperville, IL, brother Jan (Cheryl) Gould of Nicholasville; sister Dawn (David) Waldrop of Lexington; nephews Daniel (Karen) Bates of Tampa, FL, Jordon Bates of Lexington, and Derek T. (Rebecca) Ellington of Mt. Sterling; niece Elizabeth(fiancée Travis Neal) Bates of Louisville and two great nieces Clara and Lauren Ellington,; brother-in-law John T. (Denise) Cook of Huntsville, AL. and sister-in-law Jane Cook(David) Ellington of Sharpsburg,. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Donations may be made to Loyola University Medical Center, Renal Kidney Transplant Dept., 2160 South First Ave., Maywood, IL 60153.
