We were deeply saddened to hear of Neil's passing. We will miss his smile, laugh and wit. He was a good husband,father and of course good grandpa. We have fond memories of conversations with him on the porch in Connecticut. We will miss him very much.
To Kelsey, Aidan and all the grandkids, Danielle and Rachel send their deepest sympathies. They also have fond memories of Grandpa Neil and will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. You are all in our hearts and Neil is in our hearts,always.

I'll always remember Mr O'Brien as a happy man who was easy (and fun) to talk to. He was the kind of guy you looked forward to spending some time with- like an adopted Uncle. I'm sure you will all miss him a lot, and we're very sorry for your loss. The world is a lesser place without his warm smiles and kind words.

I want you to know you are in my prayers. I am praying for the whole family to find peace and comfort. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

While reading this beautiful tribute to Neil's life, I could not help but smile when I read the words "He laughed loudly, often and honestly. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends." I see that as a gift he gave to you Kathleen as those exact words could be used to describe you. Much love to you and your entire family during this difficult time my dear, dear friend.

What a truly special man Neil was to have created the legacy of love and family he did. Kathleen, all I have to do is look at you, with your amazing heart and spirit, to know what kind of a man he was. He will always be with you. I am sending prayers of love and comfort and peace to you, Brian, Hannah, Andrew and your entire family.
