Our deepest condolences. An author once said "If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster." Neil certainly did just that. He always lived life to the fullest. We will miss him.

I meet Neil through our business dealings a few years ago. I spoke to him on a daily basis and considered him a close freind. His zest for life and his strength in dealing with his setbacks made a huge impact on me. Through Neil, I find a positive outlook on every situation. I will miss Neil. He was a great man.

I first met Neil as a camper at Kadimah in 1959. We managed to keep up our friendship over the past 47 years. I will miss him but I know that his spirit will live on in the actions and deeds of his children. On behalf of Camp Kadimah and Neil's many friends here in Halifax our deepest sympathies to the family and our thoughts are with you.
Sincerely,
Ruth Ickman

Our condolences to the Rubin family. I had the pleasure of being Neil's counsellor at Camp Kadimah in 1961 and remember a bright and enthusiastic camper who was destined to be successful. Our daughters were subsequently bunk mates at the same camp. Alan and Janet Stern.

My deepest condolences to Neil's family. I remember meeting Neil when I was 12, traveling to my uncle's(Issie Druckman)wedding by train from Montreal. There was an Air Canada strike and most wedding guests from Montreal were on the same train to Moncton. It was my first introduction to the close-knit and warm Rubin family.
May his memory be a blessing.

I was very saddened to hear of Neil's passing. We first met over 30 years ago. He was the most kind, generous, and honest person one could hope to know. A real MENCH. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
