Nelson "Slim" Cunningham

In CT Hospice, Branford, on Monday, July 20, 2009, Nelson (Slim) Cunningham, 84, of 245 Woodland Rd, Guilford.

Beloved husband of 61 years of Verna Cunningham. He was born in Monson, ME, on Dec. 25, 1924, son of the late Frank and Florence Perham Cunningham. He was the father of Florence Bertholet and her husband Dennis of Clinton, Sharon Pullman and her husband Nicholas of Raeford, NC, Nelson Cunningham, Jr. of Guilford, Roger E. Cunningham and his wife Roxanne of Durham, and Pam Collins and her husband Rick of Dexter, ME. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Mr. Cunningham was a WW II Army veteran and a life time member of the VFW Post #7666 in Guilford.

Memorial Services at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford on Thursday, July 23 at 7pm. Friends may call prior to the services on Thur. from 5 – 7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
