My dear sweet cousins and loving aunt, we are all deeply upset by the loss of our wonderful, intelligent loving uncle. Such a great man who always had a smile on his face and was always so easy going. I always remember Uncle Nelson who could talk to and understand anyone. Words cannot express what I am feeling now. Just know that I will keep you in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Ericka and Yuanita I love you both. This is your cousin Darlene in Spain. I cannot began to tell you how sad I was to hear of my wonderful and loving uncle passing. I am sorry That I cannot be there to comfort you in your time of grief. To all that did not know Nelson he was a beautiful man. Smart , intelligent and I am sorry I didnt know him better. My last talk with him made me see what a great person he was. He loved you all and had such a great heart. The most easiest person to get along with and easy to talk with. I will miss him forever more. I love you aunt Mary, Yuanita, and Ericka. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We will miss Nelson dearly. We will miss his humor, his laugh, and just the regular conversations. Surely he is in Jehovah's memory. Now it's up to us as friends and family to be sure we are there in Paradise to welcome him back when Jehovah tells him to wake up from his sleep.

I will always remember those middle of the nights running up and down the street caring a bag of newspapers with Nelson.. I was just talking to him about that. (Those were the good old days).. Nelson will be missed by so many people but as Rev. 21: 4 says: And he will wipe out every tear from there eyes, and death will be no more, Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. So we will see him soon.. LOVE YOU Ma Mary, Ericka, and Nitta...

When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on.
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.
Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts.
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.
Draw together to recuperate,
As you go through this period of sorrow.
Help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow.
