NELSON "JAY" WOODS Jr.

When I started with Dfas Nelson was one accountant that helped me alot to learn and understand my job. He had such patience and kindness. He was such a wonderful person always smiling and always had something kind to say. We both shared the love of a 1960's song by "McArthurs Park". Nelson may you rest in peace - memory eternal.

I was a former DFAS co-worker of Nelson and had nothing but the utmost respect for him. He was extremely knowledgeable and always took time to share his wealth of knowledge. Earth has no sorrows that heaven can´t heal. Rest in heaven my dear friend!

I was deeply saddened by the news of my cousin's passing. My prayers are with the family.

Nelson was so beloved by our Abundant Grace Fellowship family. He never complained, was always positive and was concerned about everybody else. He would even call to check on my husband. What a testimony to his faith in our Lord and Saviour! Nelson definitely had a servant's heart, soul and spirit. I loved serving him and sitting with him at our cafes after service. I will selfishly miss him but I'm comforted knowing he's resting eternally and painlessly in heaven. Thank you Jesus for blessing us with Brother Nelson!!
