I met Joyce at the bridge table. She was always both a gracious and worthy opponent . Her taste in clothes was impeccable, and her Christmas parties for the bridge club were superb! I consider it a privilege to have known her - my life has been enriched because of our brief friendship. My sympathies are with those whom she left behind. Marguerite Simpson (Snohomish, WA.)

I knew Joyce from being in the Soroptimist organization. The parties at her house were always so much fun. She was a wonderful lady.

I first met Joyce in the late 60s when we became subscribers to Salinas Valley Radio Telephone. Later became a member of Soroptimist and became a good friend. Joyce was the great organizer, entertainer and leader. I worked with her on many fashion shows for both Soroptimist and Door to Hope.
Joyce was the ultimate "classy lady" I consider it a privlege to have been her friend
