I just heard today of Fr. Neal's passing. I had sent him a birthday card (September 7) but had yet to follow-up. Father was the celebrant of my husband's funeral Mass and co-celebrant at my Mon's liturgy. He will be very missed. Please know my prayers are with his remaining family members. I will continue to pray for - and to - him and know he will return the favor.

Rest in Peace Fr. Antle. I served many times with Father Antle on the altar at St. Patricks church in Galveston.

I was an Altar Boy in the 70's at Sacred Heart. Fr. Antle really loved and cared about us because we always had activities to go to.. I also had the opportunity to see him at Magnificent House saying Mass on Sunday..
A truly class act.. Love you so much!!

I am so sorry to learn of Fr Antle's death. He was a dear friend of the whole Clark family of Galveston. I remember his early assignment at St. Patrick's. Also, he came to Hermann Memorial Hospital in 2009 to give me blessings prior to my surgery. His laughter and our visits with him at St. Dominic in Houston will be treasured.
Love, Mable

A truly magnificently and funny priest. Attended several priest parties where Neal had us all "rolling on the floor" laughing.

I remember Father Antle while attending St Patrick's School in Galveston and then while attending Ursuline Academy, Galveston. He would come to Ursuline to help us sing whenever we had a Program to present to our families. I tried his patience with my awful monotone drone and was probably one of the worst singers he ever had to deal with. He finally had to ask me to just move my lips as if I were singing which allowed me to still be in the choir.
We also had the added pleasure of him baptizing my father when he converted to the Catholic faith. My father was blessed to have Father Antle teaching him during his studies of the Catholic faith.
Thank you for sharing your brother with us.

We are sorry to hear about the passing of Father Antle. We have great memories of him saying the Mass at Christmas time at the Soup and Loaves kitchen for the the residents who came to celebrate the season. Father Antle always demonstrated Christian love and respect to all.

My deepest condolences to your family during this most difficult time. There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that your loved one is in God's memory, because those who pass on are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family at this sad time. Father Antle was a great family friend, and always had us laughing. I am thinking of you at this time, especially Mary and Bart Antle. I have such fond memories. Steve and I live in Budapest Hungary or I can tell you for sure I would be there at the funeral and the rosary service. Please know I am with you in spirit. Jeanette Wiggins Pearson and Steve
