NICHOLAS J. "NICK", Jr.
Of North Versailles, age 77, on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Husband of the late Mary E. (Byrnes) Bakalon; loving father of Nicholas "Nick" (Vera) Bakalon of Elizabeth, Michael (Lynda) Bakalon of Irwin, Cynthia (Jeffrey) Gyergyo of North Versailles, Jennifer Bakalon of North Versailles; grandfather of Ashley, Scott and Nicholas Bakalon, Keith Gyergyo, Ashley and Jamie Snyder and Michael Scheible; great-grandfather of nine; brother of the late Judith Bakalon; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nick was a draftsman for many years at Reliance Steel. He also owned and operated Nick's Auto Repair in North Braddock for 34 years. Nick was a Vietnam Army veteran and enjoyed model trains and old cars. Friends welcome Tuesday 2-8 p.m. in the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Avenue at Cable, East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Monongahela Cemetery with military honors.
