I wish I'd been able to get to know Nick better and that we didn't live so far apart. I'll always cherish the memory of seeing Pirates of the Caribbean with Nick and his family years ago. We laughed and had a great time, and I'll hold on to that moment forever. On that visit I learned that Nicholas had a great sense of humor and an appreciation for the absurd. We were simpatico in that way. I'm so glad we had that time and am sorry there won't be more but will treasure those memories always.

I'll miss you Nick, you were the brother I never had.
I just hope you are happy and in a better place.
We all will remember you for all the laughs and great moments we had.
Maybe someday we'll be able you see you again and play like old times.
Then I can pester you about those MUGEN vids again. lol.

Nick was one my my closest friends yet I knew so little about his personal life, I never really thought I needed to. I spent over half a decade just chatting with him online and we became great friends who played video games and watched dumb shows. Nicholas was one of the coolest people I ever met, he was funny, honest and above all a loving man who cared about his friends. I'll remember all the time we shared goofing around and having fun. I'm not going to forget him until the day I die.

I can't find the words to comfort you at such a difficult time. Know that my thought and prayers are with the entire Baxter family.
