Nicholas Bozine Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 30, 2011.
Nick Bozine age 63, Husband, Father, Pop Pop, died Saturday at home where he liked it most. There are no words to describe this man. If you were lucky enough to know him you would understand. Nick battled cancer with the intensity and strength he used to fight every battle in his life; sadly it was just too strong of an opponent. Nick was born in Philadelphia on July 8, 1948 and died on July 30, 2011. Nick grew up in Fishtown, he attended North Catholic High School and then entered the US Army in 1968. After the Army, he was a Philadelphia Policeman for 2 years. Then after an apprenticeship in the sprinkler fitters Local 692 and in 1976 he started his own Non-Union business Tri-State Fire Protection which he proudly owned until his death. Nick was a giver. He gave to all and asked nothing in return. People who met him loved him instantly. Nick's proudest possession in life was his family. Nothing brought him greater joy, not even an Italian hoagie with extra mayo and extra onions or a bottle of homemade wine. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Veronica (Ronnie) (nee Panno). His daughter Kim Ciemny and her husband Steve, granddaughters Isabella, Alexis and Marissa. His son Nick and his wife Tina, grandson Ryder. His brother in law Vince and nieces Valerie and Amanda. His mother Theresa, his sister Theresa (Diluzio) and brother Michael. Nick's final wishes were to give a donation in his name to the Abramson Cancer Center, c/o Penn Medicine Development, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter and Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 10:30am. Interment at Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown, NJ. "A Life Well Lived Is Worth Remembering"
