NICHOLAS "BUDDY"
Age 81, of Plum, raised in Brushton, on Friday, October 21, 2016. Beloved husband of 58 years to Ilene (Brown) Calabrese; father of Kelly (Tim) Becker, Nick (Pauline) Calabrese and Jeff (Sue) Calabrese; grandfather of Marin and Jaime Becker, Tia, Nicholas, Michael, Christopher and Elita Calabrese; preceded in death by parents, Michael, Marie (Monaco) Calabrese and siblings, Anna Pelligrini, Fena Tedesco, Elma Abt and Michael Calabrese; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Buddy loved being a member of the Gateway Flying Club. Friends received, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD./ROTH CHAPEL, 7450 Saltsburg Road, (at Universal Road,) Penn Hills. A Service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. in the Presbyterian Church of Plum Creek.

I will miss my Uncle Buddy. Because he was one of the youngest uncles. And he was an awesome uncle that gave me good advice when I was a young man. He told me to reach for my dreams.

The Calabrese family has lost another member...Buddy was always so sweet, friendly and full of life. He was a hard worker and a wonderful family man. The last time I saw Buddy was at the Pittsburgh Airport about 6 or so years ago...he was just coming back from a visit with his daughter. It was so nice to see him and chat for a while. Ilene and family, may you find peace in knowing he is no longer in pain and reuniting with his parents and siblings. We will see him again, may you rest in peace Buddy...you were loved by many <3
