NICHOLAS W. COMSTOCK
A service to celebrate his life was held Saturday, April 12th, 2008 at the home of Jeff and Patti Whitaker in Lancaster, S.C.
Nick is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ashley Whitaker Comstock; a son, Quinten Conner Comstock, also of Lancaster, S.C.; parents, Rick and Jo Ellen Comstock of Victoria and Debra Underwood Bryant of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; brother, Christopher Richard Comstock, also of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sister, Francine Brenneke of Missouri; stepsister, Mollie McIver of Seabrook and stepbrother, Sean McIver of Victoria; grandparents, Bill and Arlene Tharp, and Gene Glover of Victoria; aunts and uncles, Rusty and Barbara Comstock, Terry and Craig Covington of Victoria, and Samantha and Scott Sullivan of Houston.
The family will have a drop-in visitation from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, April 19th, 2008 at Rick and Jo Ellen's home at 306 Blyth for friends and family.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

well you were my roommate and my friend and i will never forget it...i just wished i would have been there for you more...you were so loved by your wife and son...i just hope you realize that...as for your wife i hope that she has strength to go on each day with your gorgeous son and tell him what a great man you were

The crack of the bat, smell of new leather and freshly cut grass. The feel of the ball off the bat. All memories I share with Nick growing up in Victoria.

I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. I remember playing catch with Nick when we were younger at my grandmothers house, and seeing him play baseball in Victoria Park when i would go watch the games with my grandfather. May the lord be with you in your time of sorrow.
