We wish to extend our condolences to the family of Nick Conti.
I am Robbie Campayno's mother. Robbie passed away on October 13th, 2005.

Aunt Teresa and the rest of our wonderful family. I remember my cousin Nicki always being the life of the party and we had many parties as we were growing up - most of them on Woodstock Avenue. All of us cousins were always sooo close it saddens me that we do not get together more often and let our children know how important being close to your cousins is. I hope we can all make a commitment to get together even if its once a year to remember all those who we love so much and never will forget. I know Nickie has met up with Bobby Bair and Aunt Edna and I feel blessed to have the three of them up there looking out for me - God knows I need it. All my love and sympathy to everyone at this time in our lives. I will always remember and Love Nickie and will listen to his cd for the rest of my life.

I'll never forget Christmas on Woodstock Avenue about 12 years ago (I think) when Nick was in from Hawaii. Because of our age gap, I didn't get to "hang" out to much with my older cousins. He made that Christmas very memorable and very fun. He had his guitar and played for hours. Edna insisted that the cops were going to "bust us" she kept watch out the window a majority of the night. However, it was one of the best Christmas Days I can remember until I had my own kids to watch. I am so glad that I have that night on video tape and that we can enjoy it at anytime. Alot of the family was there that year which made it a very special Christmas. I will always remember him making everyone smile with his funny songs and his always happy attitude. Our thoughts and prayers are with his mom, dad, sisters, brother and his kids at this sad time. Alyson, Eric, Angel, Max and Mason

So many memories of Nick...

Swissvale, Donegal cottage, Penn State...playing the guitar at my wedding, 26 years ago.

Last saw Nick in 1984..watched a Steeler game together..but we talked by phone, not often, not regularly, but enough for us to keep up on each other's lives.

Last talked with Nick 3 weeks ago, 8 days before he died. His voice is still on my answering machine.

Listened to his CD...my kids, who never met Nick, felt like they knew him. Upon learning of his passing, my 17-year-old daughter, Idolyn, sobbed, said "I liked Nick."

Nick will be missed....big time!!

The last time that I saw Nick was at Terri's party. He was playing the guitar and we were all singing and laughing. I was playing the tamborine. That's how I'll remember Nick, as a gentle, free spirit, with those big blue eyes and beautiful smile. I'll think of him when I'm sitting on the beach, or hear wind chimes from a gentle breeze, or someone playing the guitar. He'll always be in my heart, and he will be missed very, very much.

To the Conti family:

Nick and my brother Rob were the greatest of friends. It was always a joy to see them play music together and to play along with them. They were happiest when they were strummin' and harmonizin'.

Here's to them both, as I'm sure they're singing along together in the Big Band in the sky!

I've many good memories of Nick that can never be taken away. I'll always remember his smile and his love of life.

Condolences to the family. He was a hell of a guy.
