Ron, Judy & Cody, i just saw Evan Murray in Sun Valley Idaho, where he lives next door to his brother, Jason. We spoke of Nick, with Evan saying one of his favorite memories of Nick was riding around St. Augustine, FL together, in a side car moped. "We ripped around the city in it, the wind and a smile on our faces. What I loved about Nick was his energy and attitude were infectious. He had so much love for his friends and family. Was lucky to call him a friend and make some wonderful memories along the way. Love & miss him so much."

My husband too was a commercial fisherman and I was raised on the Oregon Coast so we know what it's like to have such a deep love and respect for the sea. We loved to watch that in Duffy every week as he would show so much emotion in doing what he loved. The crew on the Pinwheel will always have someone watching their every move as I believe when you leave this life your spirit watch's over the one's and things you love. Duffy loved his family and the Pinwheel, so we will miss him beyond belief . We loved watching Tyler and Duff interact when they would get a fish on. Won't be the same. Love them both just the same.

As I began watching tonights episode of Wicked Tuna Outer Banks, I was shocked to see that Duffy has passed away. You are loved by so many people who have never met you but looked forward to seeing you each week on Wicked Tuna. You were very passionate about your job on the Pinwheel and you will definitely be missed but never forgotten! This candle is lit in honor of your memory. May your soul rest in eternal peace and may God bless your family with peace beyond all human understanding.

I will truly miss Duffy on the Pinwheel, my prayers are with the family and know that you had a truly special son and brother. He gave so much to so many, RIP DUFF.

Judy, Ron and Cody, my prayers to you and family for Nick. Evan had just come out to surprise me with a visit in San Diego at beginning of July and we spoke of Nick quite a bit. Evan loved him and is in pain over this sad news. Sorry I can't make it back to NH, but know our thoughts are with you.

He may have been full of the devil but he was one hell of a fisherman.
