I was a year behind Nick on the wrestling team at SPS. An expression of his own humility, Nick always made me feel good about myself. Although we only crossed paths a handful of times after graduation, I just wanted to say that I still think about Nick and that he remains an inspiration to me.

Today would have been your 30th birthday.

Thinking of you today and always, Nick.

Three long years have passed.

Would be your 29th Birthday.

Another year has passed.

A year has passed. One Thanksgiving, one Christmas and a birthday for each of us left behind.

I just now learned of your heartbreaking loss. My love goes out to you all. My deepest sympathies.

My heart breaks for your loss. Nick remains in my memory as the bright-eyed and brilliant boy I knew at Ross School. You have a beautiful family; may the love you have spread reflect back on you as you begin to heal.

Nick-there isnt a day that goes by that Doug and I arent talking about you. We both miss you so much. I miss coming home to you and you telling Doug and I that you just wanted a boys night and you wanting to watch a horror movie. The last movie we saw together was IT and that day we jumped from movie to movie. I miss spending time with you. You had this ability to brighten the room No matter what happened you where always there making everyone laugh and smile. Rest easy Nick Doug and I miss you everyday buddy. Love you.

I was so saddened to learn of Nick's passing. He was all the things the obit mentioned, and I can't imagine how difficult this must be for all of you. I send deepest condolences to you.

I was shocked and hit with sadness when I read Nicks obituary in Sunday's New York Times. I remember him as a sensitive , bright , beautiful boy. May your many sweet memories , cherished photos and family stories bring you comfort , both now and forever. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I never met Nick but happened to see his obituary and - with four high-achieving 'millennial' sons of my own - was stunned and incredibly saddened by the scope and the tragic mystery of his passing. Amen. (Dr) Michael J Wriston

When I heard the news, I didn't want to believe it. So many people are shocked and grieving. I read the outstanding personal narrative Nick wrote in fourth grade to every class that followed him. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful and brilliant Nick.
