So sorry to hear of Nick's passing. Have missed 'running into him' around the plaza these last years. He had a huge personality and was truly a larger than life character. I remember my tour of the compound and introduction to a beautiful kitten years ago. Big gentle guy - tiny happy kitten. And the dinosaurs! I'll make an extra contribution to PACC this month for Nick.

I first met Nick when I was 13 years old. His sister Genie and I would become besties for 55 years. The Genematas family (The G's) have always been loving and inclusive, welcoming friends and making them feel like family.
When I remember Nick, the first word that comes to mind is grinning, oh and don't forget mustache (a toss up between Nick and Jim). Add a fabulous sense of humor and that is a combo that brings happiness and joy to all who knew Nick.
But under all that, he was a Good Man, a loving son, husband, father, cousin, grandfather and friend.
My deepest condolences to Cindy, his companion through life and your beautiful family of which he was so rightfully proud.
Nick, I will forever Thank You for your kindness and friendship . . .
Love, Colleen

Nick was one of my best friends during my Salpointe years. Clever, funny, and brilliant. He was the Happy Woodsman. Thank you, Nick. You were a bright light.

I´m blessed to live on Genematas Dr where the brilliant layout of the neighborhood curves to allow privacy and a unique view from every home. Fortunate to meet Nick Genematas twice and have the original drawing of my home. God bless your entire family.
