I did not know Nicholas either but his words were so beautifully expressed that I just had to tell you that you should be so proud of the young, handsome son that you raised. May the sadness you feel be replaced by the joy I am certain he brought to all of your lives.

A beautiful sensitive soul not meant to stay here too long. Gone from your presence; never far from your spirit. I, too, like to walk at night but not so bravely. I think on one of his wanderings, Nicholas met the fox who told him, "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." Like The Little Prince, he questioned "whether the stars are set alight in heaven so that one day each one of us may find his own again. . . ."

The darkness snuffed out by the light. You were right on kid. RIP

I did not know Nicholas but it is apparent that an amazing person passed too soon. I am so impressed and amazed by his writing and intuition into connections. I have never thought about walking barefoot as a way to connect with our world. G-d bless this young man and his family at this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing. Mollie Neuman
