The sudden loss of very close large family, my heart and my family´s heart breaks for everyone in the Lanza family, particularly his parents (my my cousins) R&J Lanza and Nick´s wife, my family´s deepest sympathies to you from my family to yours. A truly amazing young man in the prime of his life taken from use far far too soon. I hope his memories can warm your hearts forever.

My deepest saddest condolences for your family loss. Nick was one of the kindest, sweetest student that I had the privilege to know in all my years of teaching. He was a remarkable man from a remarkable family. My heart breaks for each of you in the Lanza family.

Nick and I went to high school together. We weren´t friends but he was a constant for those four years. You could always count on him to be humble and kind, and in such a difficult time, sometimes the constants are the ones who make your high school years breathable. Thank you, Nick. You will be missed.

I want extend my sincere condolences to Nick's family and friends. He was a very kind and giving person. I was able to work with Nick in his vineyard career. I always left our meetings with a smile on my face. Nick was willing to share his knowledge as well as learn from others. He readily shared his infectious grin too. He will be greatly missed.

I had attended college with Nick and got to know him through our close, mutual friend Candace. He was so kind and always smiling. I´m certain the wine in Heaven is about to get a whole lot better now that they have a great viticulturist up there. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers!

I had the pleasure of meeting Nick sometime around when he started his career in the wine industry. He would attend community meetings for viticulturists that I lead. I always remember thinking he brought a kind and caring presence with him when he attended and despite him not always saying much, the group benefitted from his attendance. I will miss having him as a colleague here in Napa Valley.
