Nicholas Lintner Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 9, 2023.

Nicholas Dewayne Lintner, age 38, passed away at Medical Center Hospital on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born on Tuesday, August 7, 1984 in Odessa, TX to Charles Lintner and Jane Lintner-LaNaeve.

Nicholas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a fabrication specialist and installer at Brakes and Wheels in Odessa for the last 8 years; being mechanically inclined he always had a job doing what he loved so it was more fun than work. You could often find Nicholas tinkering with anything mechanical. He liked working on 4-wheelers, riding ATV’s and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Nicholas was kind and caring, he would be the one to step up and help people that were in need; he had a heart of gold. Nicholas loved to make people laugh and always had time for “picking on” Shawna.  Nicholas had a love of life, a love for his work and above all a love for his family. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his love and memory include his wife Shawna; father, Charles Lintner of Michigan and Jane Lintner-LaNaeve of Odessa; grandmother Kay Eenshuistra of Winamac, IN; his 3 sons, Bryson Dewayne Lintner, Brian McClure, Taylor McClure; daughter, Shianna Shackelford; grandchildren, Jayce Shackelford, Nova Lynn Gray and Sally McClure; brothers, C.J. Lintner and Jeremy “Flubba” Ross all of Odessa, TX.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Nolan Lintner.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Acres West Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West and condolences may be sent to the family online at acreswestfuneral.com
