In memory of
Katelyn Nicole
December 13, 2024
Nick was the brightest beacon of light and love I have ever known. Always unconditionally in my corner offering advice, support, and strength on days I needed it. It is devastating to lose such a kind soul.
Rest easy Nick love you big time

Nick,
I didn't even know you were gone, cousin. I guess that's part of being so far away from everyone else and getting wrapped up in our own lives. I'll never forget all the times we went to war for each other, or stood up for each other.
I'll never forget you coming to me when you had a problem with someone and riding out to their house so I could "talk to them". We were kids, then, acting like we were grown.
You looked out for me, always, when so many people didn't believe in me - and here I am writing in this guest book instead of being there like I should've. I'll never forget all the times we'd stay up too late talking, or all the times you told me that I needed to believe in myself.
I'll miss you, man. Forever.
- Josh

Nick was the only guy I've ever met who could find a silver lining no matter what the situation no one ever smiled so much and made life so enjoyable he will forever be missed.

I was blessed with a great ex-husband, one that other than a short bump in the road was always there for what is best for the kids. I am so lucky for the time we had over these last 21 years and even more so that your 3 amazing children and I were able to hold your hand one last time and say goodbye that final day. You have given me so much and I will see your face every time I look at your kids, I will hear your voice with every parenting decision I will make and I will be there with your mom, sisters and all of your family as we keep you in our hearts forever. Rest easy, you were my first true love and gave me the best gifts I could have ever hoped for.

It was hard saying goodbye to our best friend but it is peaceful knowing you truly are our Angel now. Family gatherings will definitely be different now without you there but your three beautiful children will still always be there and always be loved. The thing that makes me smile the most is when I step in one of your footprints in the sand under the pool. You are forever with us in our hearts and in our memories. We love you Nick!

I'm grateful to have known Nick both as a union brother and a a friend. It was a blessing to have been able to reconnect and regrow our friendship the last couple years. He was truly one of the kindest and most giving humans I've been blessed to know. I'll miss our bonding over all things nerd like, and discussing the latest additions to star wars.

I love you Uncle Nick! We´re going to miss but we know you´ll always be with us no matter what. Family gatherings definitely won´t be the same without you but you will always be remembered no matter what. We love you. We´re glad you´re not in pain anymore at least.

I found this lovely poem that expresses so much!
My little Brother
You left without
Warning.
Gone so fast.
Now all we have
Are memories
Of our past.
You are loved by so many.
You might not
Have known,
But in our hearts
Is where
You have grown.
The memories
I have throughout
The years
Will last
forever with
Laughter and tears
I will miss you
Oh so much.
So will all
The lives that
You have Touched.
I can't say goodbye.
I can't accept
Your death.
You will live in my heart
Forever
Until my last breath.

Nick is truly an amazing person. We had a special friendship. One where no matter how long we went without seeing each other or talking, we both knew that we could count on one another. We could tell each other anything. I thought I lost him once before during a fairly dark time in his life, but he knew I would be there when his sky was clear again. I know he felt the same for me. Nick, you have such an amazing light about you and nobody could ever dim it. I miss you more than you could ever have imagined, but I also know your soul is finally at peace. Even though you are no longer physically with us, you are still with us watching over and protecting all the ones you love.

Truely a kid at heart, always seemed to recognize the inside jokes. Would talk about anything just to have a conversation with you. Gone to soon, we will miss you Nick.

Uncle Nick you were always a peaceful and comforting presence at our family events. Your smile and sense of warmth was always something to count on. Your three children have grown into incredible individuals. You will be greatly missed, but the memories of your laughter and your kindness will always be with us. Rest in peace, Uncle Nick. May you find all the joy in heaven. Give Poppy my love.

God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. You were my best friend a long time ago, when you lived by keystone Park. It's because of you, I finally got my high school crush, Nancy..... I owe you alot my brother, rest well, and welcome home! I'll see you again soon enough.... Until then....

I haven't seen Nick since he was not quite a teenager. What I do remember about him and said he was always kind and courteous and usually had a smile on his face. I'm sure he'll be missed by many.

I remember working with you years ago. You were one of my first JW. Always smiling, always happy. No matter how early in the morning, he was always in a good mood. Taken way too early brother. Rest easy.

I just remember Nick always smiling and laughing.
When our time is done I believe the best compliment a man could get is simply " He was a good guy " and Nick you definitely were! so sorry for the family
