In Loving Memory of Nicholas Medvedeff

Nicholas Michael "Nick" Medvedeff, born February 10, 1984, passed away peacefully the morning of March 14, 2025, in San Francisco, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Nick was a devoted husband to Silvia Messina and a loving father to their daughter, Aurora "Rory" Medvedeff. He was the cherished son of James and Deborah Medvedeff, and a beloved brother to Chelsea Medvedeff. He will be deeply missed by large extended families in the U.S. and Argentina.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Nick's life journey took him across the country and around the world. He spent his early years in Ohio, his youth in Missouri, and his teenage years in Massachusetts. Nick graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in 2002, and St. Bonaventure University in 2006. His adventurous spirit led him to travel extensively before settling in San Francisco, where he built a fulfilling life both personally and professionally and lived for more than fifteen years.

Nick admired nature and was passionate about making the world a better place. His career in renewable energy was a natural extension of his strong personal commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. He took great pride in his work and its benefits for our planet.

Beyond his professional achievements, Nick was known for his warmth, generosity, and a magnetic personality that drew people together. He formed lasting friendships everywhere he went, and he had an extraordinary gift for making others feel welcome and valued. He believed in celebrating life and always made sure that the people around him had a great time, while constantly strengthening his bonds with those he held most dear. Whether through thoughtful conversation, shared adventures, music, food, or simply his infectious laughter, Nick had a way of making every moment special.

A celebration of Nick's life is being planned for May 2025 in San Francisco. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in his memory to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.

Nick will be profoundly missed and forever remembered. His legacy of love, kindness and unwavering joy will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Rest easy and go in peace, our friend.
