To Helen and all of your family
It was very sad to read that Nick had passed away last week. It was a real surprise to me and very sad to hear. Nick took phys-ed classes for two of my children from memory when we were in Hokitika. And of course I have seen him going about his 'close to nature' job of beekeeping over the years in Kaikoura. My sincere condolences to you all, kind thoughts and best wishes.

This is terribly sad news about a man claimed too young. Nick was larger than life when I knew him at PNBHS as a cricketer two years his junior. At his best he was the scariest and quickest High School fast bowler I have ever seen. I and many others were rightly very apprehensive before we played or practiced against him, particularly in the bouncy PNBHS nets in the days before modern protective equipment and helmets. To his family and friends, please accept heartfelt condolences from myself and my family.

My sincere condolences to Nick's family and friends. Nick's a fondly remembered First XI cricket team mate at PNBHS.
