Dear Josephine, Joann, Nick, Joanne, Nickie, Marco, Anthony and Roberto - I am so sorry for your great loss of a wonderful Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He loved his family with all of his heart, just as all of you loved him. To see Nick the morning of his heart attack just about tore my heart apart. I only wish I could have done more. Jo, you should feel proud of all you did to help Nick that morning! You were his life saver! Without you, he never would have made it as long as he did! Nick was one of the most giving people anyone could ever meet. He would do anything he could for anyone. He was a great neighbor, and kept us up on the "local news". It was always nice to see his smiling face on the porch, and hear his hilarious stories. He had a fabulous sense of humor, and I'll never forget what he did when he asked if I wanted to see his scar (laughing here)! Jerry, Vikki and I will definitely miss Nick!

Aunt Jo, Joann, Niki:

I am so sorry for your loss. Judy told me yesterday when I talked to her for Thanksgiving. I am not able to travel because I get a weekly chemo for metastic breast cancer (I was first diagnosed at 47 with breast cancer and lived 4 years believing it was gone after the operation, chemo and radiation. Big surprise last Oct. to be diagnosed with it thoughout all of my bones. Every time one of us turned 47 we thought of my dad, and 3 months after I turned 47,I was diagnosed. The plan is to give me a weekly chemo indefinitely (I have had 28 counting today's) in hopes they come up with something new. Just last week it was the 35th anniversary of my dad's death and we all think of your love, your caring, and all you did for us at that time. I hope sending my love and caring to you helps in some small way. I love my memories of all of you and will keep you all in my prayers. I pray a lot these days. Aunt Jo, I love you.
