We were very saddened to learn that Dr. Nick passed away. Several years ago, Dr. Nick helped Stephen´s ankle recover so he could continue playing baseball. Dr. Nick also helped Sean´s throwing arm recover so he could continue to be the quarter-back on his High School football team. Dr. Nick was always very kind, helpful, and supportive. We will always be very grateful to Dr. Nick for the exceptional care that he provided. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amanda, Sydney, Mac, and Dr. Nick´s entire family.

I knew Nick as a physical therapy patient for my migraines, dating back over a decade to Rehabilitex. To say he was my migraine savior is an understatement. Therapy appointments very quickly started to include life updates. He worked through both of my pregnancies and watched my kids grow at Phyt when they joined for appointments. In exchange, I got to hear all about his beautiful wife, the birth of their two wonderful kids and all their big growth updates and travels.

As a healthcare professional myself, Nick always told me I could stop spending money on appointments and learn how to treat myself, but I didn´t as I never hesitated he wouldn´t be there. Guess I´ll have to study up now... He will be missed for soo much more than what seems like the simplest physical therapy appointment.

Sending all my strength and healing to his wife, kids and entire family.

Nick was one of my instructors for the Dry Needling course in October 2023 in Quincy MA. He was very friendly, passionate, professional, and knowledgeable. On the first day of class, he was very open to tell us that he had been dealing with some health issues but was on track to recovery. He had a very optimistic outlook on life and enjoyed sharing with us cool and funny stories. At the end of the class, he was giving away needles for us to take home to practice. Although I wasn't flying anywhere after the class, I still jokingly said to him that I'll give him a call and have him get me if I get stopped by the TSA for carrying needles. He replied jokingly too that in that case I would say I don't know you. We laughed it off and said our byes. I will continue to remember Nick and cherish the brief but memorable interactions we had.

I came to see Nick for therapy early 2017. I was so impressed with his skill, knowledge, dedication and compassion. When he told me how he loved to fish I thought what a really cool and interesting guy. I cannot express how sad I am to hear of the passing of this gentle and vibrant young man. I will keep Amanda and the children in my prayers. Know that Nick will never be forgotten.

I met Nick when I couldn't find relief from my hip/foot pain. This was in 2016, when his office was either in a yoga studio or a crossfit. He was like my own person Dr.House. Always thinking, always trying to find the root of the issue. Always answering my crazy Why does this hurt?! texts with patience. He made me laugh. He talked about his dreams, both with the business and how excited he was to be marrying Amanda. They say people come into your life for a reason a season or a lifetime. He came into mine for all three. So grateful for him.

My heart breaks over the loss of Nick to the world. He was a soul who embodied the essence of life and love and passed it on to everyone he met. I met Nick when he was interning with Frank at Rehabilitex where I was a permanent patient with dystonia. He brought me along when he started PhytforFunction and kept me vigorously racing sailboats during the summer and making maple syrup during the winter with his skillful cutting edge treatments throughout my seventh decade of life. He shared my enjoyment of drinking maple sap and was going to tap his own maple tree. He will be so missed by so many. I send my deep love and care to the Sanders family who keep his legacy alive.

Summers on the farm, creek fishing, tag, running around your parents house, driving GMa crazy, fishing trips and year later those cousin summers became core memories to who we all became. At the center of that was you...always trying to make the best of everything, always seeing the best in things and later choosing a profession where you could educate and heal. I was NOT surprised! Seeing you grow into a Husband and Father was probably my favorite of them all. I am glad to have known you, loved you and call you family. We love and will miss you very much Nicky!

Nick was a kind hearted guy who spoke about his Children and wife often in the short few days I spent learning from him at a PT conference. I am heart broken to hear the news of his passing and pray God brings peace to all who are close to Nick. May his love shine through the days ahead to come.

Years ago Nick graciously encouraged and supported me to be my best self as I joined the IDN teaching team. For me Nick will always be part of the fabric of IDN. I am lucky to have learned from and with Nick as IDN team members. Later, it was my absolute pleasure to offer suggestions for Nick and Amanda as they planned their honeymoon adventure to my home land of Aotearoa New Zealand. The joy on their faces during this adventure showed they were making core memories with each other. In his too short a time here on earth it has been an honour to call Nick a friend. Nick was a genuinely good human. Let the memories never fade. Sincere condolences Amanda Sydney and Mac

I am so devastated to learn of Nicks passing.
I met Nick a few years ago at a local Yoga studio where he was renting space for his PT practice.
He was recommended to me by the yoga studio owner.
I could barely walk the day of my first appointment with him.
By the end of my appointment, I comfortably walked out of the office.
I never looked back after that day & was a regular client after that to present time.
Nick was such a kind & genuine soul & he had a true gift & instinct for helping people that I will always remember & cherish.
I pray for healing & peace for his family
Rest in heavenly peace, Nick. You will be forever missed
