Nicholas James "Nick" Serra

We just wanted to offer some words of comfort as we have two sons that are close in age to Nick. In fact, both of our sons Shane and Chase worked with Nick at Bob Evans in Fairmont and had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. He was a special person, that goes without saying. I met Nick a few months after I moved to WV... he was a great guy. I moved back to Philadelphia recently, and talked to nick just days before his passing, letting him know Id be visiting. I was so hoping to see him again, he was a great friend. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved him, as the loss is a great one. please, take care of yourselves... and nick, RIP my friend...

I am sorry for your loss, can;t even imagine the pain- for our boys are the same age- growing up together. Even had the same girlfriends at times. our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

I love y'all dearly and I have you in my prayers. I want to say how amazing it is to know a family that is so accepting, you welcome EVERYONE in your home and they become family. I know exactly where Nick got his loving spirit, it's from you both Bill and Rhonda. And his laughter, his spirit comes from his brothers Mark and Vinny. Anyway, we'll make it through, just keep going. I love that Nick wrote that poem. I feel such a peace even through all this mess...I hope you guys can all find the same peace. Anyway, if you need anything get a hold of me...I'm always here.

My heart was sorely broken when I heard of Nicks passing. I can't explain the emotion and the tears when ReJoice & Jonas told me. It's as though I went back to another time when Nick and the kids were growing up togeather. These are fond memories. Memories of those times I shall never forget, just like yesterday. The last time I seen Nick was at Bobs Funeral. He was so kind, just as I always knew him to be. May God in Heaven Bless you and keep you strong. My Love and Prayers are with you
