Nicholas Joseph Zarra passed away on August 15, 2025. Surrounded by his wife and family. Born on December 23, 1971, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Nick lived a life marked by deep devotion to family, a love of sports, and a generous heart.

He began his education at Bishop McDevitt High School before attending South Georgia Community College and Hagerstown College. He later completed his training at Harrisburg Area Community College, graduating from the Police Academy-a reflection of his dedication to service and personal growth.

A passionate baseball fan and exceptional player, Nick's enthusiasm for the game earned him the nickname "#7." He also enjoyed golf and cherished time spent with family and friends. Known for his talent in the kitchen, he found great joy in cooking meals that brought people together.

Nick's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by two son's Ryan and Tyler Zarra from a previous marriage. He loved those boys more than life itself. Nicks Friday nights during high school football season was streaming his son Tyler's football games . As long as Tyler's games were televised, Nick was watching. He always ended each night with a message to his boys.He leaves behind his beloved wife Ami. Her two son's Evan and Aydan who he loved and adored more than anything. Nick had a passion for building Legos and enjoyed building with Evan and Aydan. He also leaves behind his parents, Joseph and Carol Zarra; his sister, Lynn Zarra; and his nephew, Conner Zarra. He is fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nick was predeceased by his grandparents Helen Wilde, Frank Wilde, Casey Zarra, and Marie Zarra.

Those who knew Nick will remember him for his warmth, humor, and unwavering generosity. His presence lit up every room he entered, and his legacy lives on through the memories shared by those who loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

May Nicky's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
