Nick Young

Nick Young is like a spiritual father to me. He was the Lead Evangelist when I was part of the D/FW Church of Christ Jesus in 1990. I thank God for his impact on my Christian life and pray for Debbie, Amy, and John to have peace and healing. I never will forget him and hopefully will see him in Heaven at the wedding feast of Jesus Christ.

Remembered, celebrated and forever grateful for the love and support received from Nick and from Debbie when we needed it most. Nick's devotion for God lives on in the hearts of those who embraced his lessons from the Bible, his love for God, family and friends. We are among those.

Nick became my insurance agent many years ago and he was a terrific man and friend. I'll miss our conversations about life.

Nick devoted his life to God. God used him in many ways and he was chosen by God to lead the DFW Church of Christ Jesus for a time. He wasn't perfect but he was God's instrument. He loved to preach and batize'a. God has mercy on whom He chooses to have mercy. His kingdom endures and constantly advances, in part to men who dedicate their life to honoring Him. Sometimes intimidating, always faithful and endearing. Peace to Leza, John, Amy, Debora and family!

I am grateful to have known Nick Young. He shared his wisdom, and passion for God with everyone.
I also want to send my condolences to the Young Family, especially to his sister who was a close friend of mine when we lived in Dallas.

It was a pleasure to have shared in the the life of Nick and Debbie while they ministered in Milwaukee. Although short, his time in Milwaukee touched many lives.

Nick had a profound impact on my walk in Christ. I will be forever grateful of the short, wonderful time I was able to walk along side him when he ministered in Milwaukee.

Nick played some important roles in my life. He helped me learned about God, Married me and when my mother passed did her eulogy. Nick was also a friend. He's gone home now. Nick hope to see you in Heaven.

"I tell you the truth, unless a kernal of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains only a single seed, But if it dies it produces many seeds. The man who loves this life will lose it, but the man who hates this life will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant will also be. My Father will honor the one who serves me." No other verse reminds me more of Nick who lived the principle of dying to himself so that others might live. Nick produced many seeds in his life and will continue to produce seeds now that he is with the Father. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to you, Debbie, John and Amy for your loss. I met nick when I was 19 years old. He studied the bible with me and helped me to become a Christian. He showed me how to be a better husband and father and after 20 years his words still have an impact in my life. I am thankful to have met him and served with him in the city of Carrollton. I was truly blessed to have reconnected with you all a couple of years ago after so many years. Attending church with you and hearing Nick's preaching was delightful and inspiring. He reminded me so much of our Grandma Young. I know that although your grief is overwhelming, the assurance that his soul now rests with our Lord and Savior is of great comfort. Nick has always been one of my favorite preachers of The Word. His messages were passionate and compelling and made an impact on all who listened. Although I didn't know him well, I saw the evidence of his love for those in the congregation. Our prayers are with the entire Young family.

This was some hard news to hear! Debbie, Nick, Amy and kids....Nick will always have a special place in so many of our hearts. I know this is a very hard time for you all.
