Nicola "Nicki" Sciancalepore Obituary
1927-2025
Nicola Sciancalepore, lovingly known as "Nicki", passed away peacefully at the age of 97. Born in Italy in 1927, she brought the caring strength of her heritage with her and settled in Daly City where she spent many joyful years surrounded by her family and friends.
Nicki was a fiercely devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her sons, Fred and Leo, daughter in law Judy, grandchildren Alicia, Andrea, Sheena, Micheal (Emma) and Jillian, great grandchildren Giovanni, Enrico, Demi and Liam. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michele, daughter, Antonia and son in law, Arthur, whose memories remained close to her heart. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends who became part of her life over the years who, as well, held a place in her heart.
As a woman of deep catholic faith, Nicki dedicated her life to caring for others. Her kitchen and dining room were the heart of her home, filled with great food, good drink, lots of laughter mixed with the occasional, not-so-quiet debates. She kept the true Italian traditions alive in her home.
Her strength, tenacity and unwavering devotion to family, friends and faith will live on in the lives that she touched. Nicki's legacy is one of intense love, service and the unwavering bonds of family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) in memory of Nicola Sciancalepore.
A service to honor and celebrate Nicki's life will be held on July 7th 2025 at 10:30am at:
Our Lady of Mercy Church
1 Elmwood Drive
Daly City
Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
All are welcome to join the reception to follow at Dominic's at Oyster Point:

South San Francisco, CA
