Carol Rae Ernst

Carol Rae Ernst Kimball Twp Carol Rae Ernst, 63, of Kimball Twp. formerly of West Branch, passed away on September 10, 2010. She was born on February 22, 1947 in St. Clair, daughter of the late Clarence and Joyce (Distelrath) Schneider. Carol married Patrick Charles Ernst on May 28, 1966. She graduated from St. Clair High School in 1964. Carol was a former employee of Marysville Plastics. She enjoyed singing karaoke and playing Santa Claus for seniors and children at the hospital. Carol especially enjoyed being with her friends and dining out. Carol is survived by her husband, Patrick C. Ernst of Kimball; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Terry Duckworth of Kimball Twp.; grandson, Terry (Jessica) Duckworth, Jr., of Port Huron; sister, Betty (Mauri) Deprez of Richmond; sister, Jane Schneider and Peter Waenink of California; brother, Patrick Schneider of Florida; brother, Thomas (Sue) Schneider of Connecticut; brother, Gregory Schneider of St. Clair and nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marylin Miller, and a brother, Kenneth Schneider. There will be a memorial service at Crossroads Community Church, 3631 King Road, China, MI 48054 on September 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m.
