NICOLE MUZZO

Una lettera molto speciale....
nel ricordo di una persona cara, di un amore vissuto tra amici, di una piacevolezza nel condividere qualsiasi momento della vita che abbiamo trascorso insieme;
nella triste consapevolezza che noi, amici fiorentini, con gli amici di Roma, ci siamo conosciuti troppo tardi....
Perché il tempo ci ha impedito di gioire ogni volta di più di quella armonia davvero speciale quando i "canadesi" Nicky e Basil, anche due volte all'anno, per molti e molti anni, venivano a passare alcune settimane le loro vacanze a Firenze, la città che forse più amavano, dopo Toronto, certamente.
E nonostante quello che è accaduto, con la morte di Nicky, sorge spontaneo il desiderio di dire che:
la vita è stata bella.....così bella..nei ricordi dei momenti passati insieme..
Bella proprio per il fatto che, per puro caso, genera improvvisamente delle armonie "speciali" così forti e così colme di affetto tra persone nate e vissute a migliaia di chilometri e che per volontà del Fato, si incontrano e, come per magia, una scintilla li colpisce tutti e sgorgano sorrisi, ed abbracci e dolci parole e bei momenti da vivere....insieme, uniti, coesi, consapevoli di questa "speciale magia", nel segno di un grande affetto.
La vita è bella perché tutti insieme abbiamo vissuto, con fortuna, questi momenti; e ci fa bene dircelo.
E quanto siamo cresciuti, come donne e come uomini, per questo amore, per questo affetto grande e sincero che ogni volta si rafforzava sempre di più.
Qui, in Italia, nelle primavere e negli autunni della Toscana, nei giorni e nelle notti di Firenze.
Ricordiamo questi grandi momenti in cui abbiamo respirato la stessa aria, tutti insieme.
E tutti noi ci ricorderemo tra di noi!
Dedicato alla nostra cara amica Nicky e rivolto al meraviglioso e grandissimo Basil, amorevole ed innamorato compagno di una vita vissuta in maniera speciale;
Come non ricordare i vostri ragazzi: bravi, sensibili e pieni di amore per i genitori, che si sono prodigati con mille e mille attenzioni. Sempre presenti: Angela e Steven, siete figli degni della vostra Mamma e del Babbo! Quindi Linda, madre con Steve degli splendidi Liam e Matthew che sono stati il motore vitale di Nicky fin dalla loro nascita. I nipotini tanto aspettati e voluti; loro le facevano luccicare gli occhi in maniera davvero particolare; una gioia dell'anima che rifiniva con il suo splendido sorriso.
Il nostro ricordo va anche alle sorelline ed ai loro compagni conosciuti sempre a Firenze, con i quali il piacere di trascorrere il tempo insieme è stato sempre così saporito.
A voi tutti, a questa grande e bella famiglia, unita e piena di energia vitale anche in questi momenti, possano arrivare con tutta la loro forza i nostri pensieri colmi di Amore; certo ci sono le condoglianze, ma il sentimento che più di tutti ci pervade è quello del vivido ricordo del tempo passato insieme e della nostra granitica amicizia.
Nella indelebile memoria di Nicky, un Angelo che ha segnato la nostra vita.

Sincere condolences to Basil and your family on the passing of Nicole. I was very saddened to learn of Nicole's death. May Mrs Muzzo, who will never be forgotten, rest in eternal peace.

So saddened to hear of the loss of dear Nicole, whose radiance, resilience, strength, beauty, courage, laughter and presence....was a true ray of warmth, sunshine and fresh air...to everyone she met.
We shared a lot of laughs, stories, and gossip together, at the Family Health Centre, for the past 10 years...and even though I was her part time Nurse there, she was my dear friend...she was loved and admired by all the staff...she was a remarkable lady..

We are so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your beautiful wife & sweet mother. Mrs. Muzzo was such an amazingly kind & happy person, who I had the extreme privilege of getting to know through coffee & lunches with Angela & my sister Rosie. I consider myself so lucky to have spent time with her, and after the few occasions where my daughters joined us, they just adored her as much as I did. I am sure she left such an impact on anyones lives that she touched. I will have memories that I will cherish forever. She will be so very sadly missed by us all, and she will always be in my heart.

We are so sorry for your loss. We have been fortunate to know Nicole for 35 years. During that time she has been our neighbour and interior designer, but most of all she has been our friend. Nicole always said when designing any room, the room is not complete until you find a "jewel," that piece that had an indescribable, special quality, which took the room to a whole new level. Nicole was that "jewel" among friends. She will be sorely missed.
