Our families go back a long way and she was always smiling and helping others. Our sons grew up together and have remained friends. She helped out at P.S. 41 with her time and many talents. I think she and Gume had the love story of the century. May she rest in peace and may happy memories help to ease your pain at this time. With sympathy and love from our family to yours. She was so wonderfully supportive of me as a new teacher, she wiped my tears and gave me the humor and emotional wisdom to continue in the profession. I will never forget her kindness . Nilsa was a beautiful person inside and out. She was our daughter Jessica Godmother. Nilsa and Gume are like family to us.
