I met Nina when I was a student in the Medical Records Librarian Program at R.C.H. Among her many duties one was teaching. She was an excellent teacher, always pleasant and kept her cool under pressure.

We have such wonderful memories of Nina as our neighbour at our beloved cabins at Boundary Bay. Nina and Keith were special friends, we have watched our children grow up and we have always looked forward to our summer visits with them. Nina was a wonderful person and will be missed by so many friends. We are sorry we can't be at her celebration of life as we, like so many of her friends are in Palm Desert but we will be sharing our memories of her today. Sending loving wishes to Keith, Shayna and Trevor and family. xoxo Brenda and Dave Eyford

So sorry to hear of Nina's passing. We were the best of friends in high school and I practically lived at the Zibin home as a teen. My condolences to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nina was a lighthouse for all of us as kids. She sat and listened, made fun and snacks. She took such care with all of Shayna and Trevor's friends. It seemed everyone who spent time with Nina was instantly taken with her, she had a special way about her. Peaceful and fun, Nina was a soldier of love and goodness. I will never forget the bounty of kindness Nina showed me over the years, in particular her nursing me through the worst flu ever when I was stuck in Vancouver on tour. She put me to bed, brought me ginger ale & crackers, she saved me. My thoughts are with Keith, who has also shown me many kindnesses over all these years and of course both Shayna and Trevor, my old friends I am thinking of you. May Nina live on endlessly through the beautiful memories each if us have of her...

Nina was the best. I have so many wonderful memories of her. She always made me feel so special and that all my high school worries and problems were the most important in the world. She had time to listen to them all and reassure me everything would be okay. She always remembered exactly what was going on with me and would make a point of keeping track of how I was doing. Sometimes I went to hang out with Trevor, but really I wanted to see Nina. The three of us, or sometimes just the two of us would sit and chat until the world seemed like a better place. Nina was so beautiful and kind and smart. I have nothing but the best memories of her. Thank you to the Aune family for always having the most open and welcoming home and sharing your mum with us.

Oh, my dear old friend. We met at UBC in the dorm, shared laughter, tears, and exchanged confidences. And what mischief we did get into! Friends through the years, though living on opposite coasts. You were a special friend to me. I do love you, and send my love, sympathy, and courage to your wonderful family. Namaste, dear Ninabear.
