Bethie said it best....Aunt Nina was "the glue that kept our family together". She was just like a Mom to Ian and me and she will truly be missed by all. We love you....rest with the angels now!!!

I have known Nina for many years as a fellow nurse and was saddened to hear of her passing. She has always been a kind hearted and giving person and I will always remember her for that. I used to look forward to the summer times when she shared the vegetables she grew from her garden. She introduced me to zucchini bread and since that day it is still one of my favorite foods. I made my first batch of it with a zucchini she gave me. My thoughts and prayers goes out to her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all.

I AM VERY SORRY FOR THE LOVE ONES WHO LOST NINA, SHE WAS A WONDERFUL NURSE AND AN EXCELLENT TREATMENT NURSE, I STILL TALK ABOUT HER TO THIS DAY, HOW SHE WAS ABLE TO HEALED THE WOUNDS. We are so sorry to hear about Nina. I found out last night. I am sorry that I am not there for you. Because your family is my family.
I always looked up to and respected Nina when I was growing up. She was pretty, popular and she was a good person with a kind and loving heart. When others would pass by us little scranny kids when they were going to the store Nina would always stop and take a dozen orders for fireballs and jaw breakers! It took time from her lunch but she did it and we loved her for it.
If you knew Nina later on in life then you know Nina as she was all of her life as a kind and loving person and family and friends being everything to her. Your notes of her life in Virginia sound no different than when she was in West Virginia, when she was younger.
If there is anything that we can do please let us know. Ritchie and Pat - I am sorry that I haven't been there for you through this. I haven't been a very good friend lately and I am sorry. You know that I love you all! Love and prayers to you Hazel and your family!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I learned a lot from Nina when I first came to Ruxton. She was there for me helping me with any question that I had. I will always cherish the talks we had (especially about our children) and follow the good advice that was given to me. Miss you Nina.

I will always remember when we first moved to Chesterfield, not knowing hardly anyone, my doorbell rang and there was my friend, Nina, whom I didn't even know lived there. What a wonderful sight to see that day and every time after that she came to my door. I will miss you dearly, Nina.

Nina was one of my best friends growing up. I have so many wonderful memories of her and all our fun times together. We laughed together and cried together. We shared so much growing up. My heart goes out to the entire family. You are all in my prayers.

I worked with Nina for about five years, she was an excellent nurse, a great friend, and she loved her family dearly. I learned so much from Nina, as I was a new nurse, she took me under her wing and helped me in SO MANY WAYS. She was a beautiful person that was loved and trusted by her patients.
