Taylors
Nina C. Hatley - Cates, 76, of 5 Tiffany Drive in Taylors, SC entered Eternal Rest on April 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC. A loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Carl Ray Cates of the home; her daughters, Crystal Lawless (Randy) of Easley and Shelley Ott (Mark) of Greenville; her son, Eric Hatley (Melina) of Simpsonville; her brother, Tracy Hatley (Ann) of Harrisburg, NC; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her life was one of loving and giving and showing compassion for those less fortunate. A private family memorial service will be held in her honor. Her presence, love and companionship will be greatly missed.

It was 6 long years ago that God called you home. It has been a hard 6 years. It was 6 years and 2 days ago at 7:45pm that you stepped into the gates of heaven. You are still my life´s love and I miss you so much. I need someone to love but I can´t find you again. I love you Nina. You were my life then and you are today.

5vyears ago God sent his Angels to take you home. It has been a lonely 5 years. Time has healed the paint of a broken heart. We will be reunited in God's time but until then rest easy my sweet love

Its almost Christmas and my heart aches as much today as the night you left me to be with Christ in heaven. I have one child I can thank you for because she is the only one that has kept her last promise to you as you lay there taking your last breath. That child is Shelley. She has been here to give me the love of a daughter and help me make it thru
These trying times. I know you are in a much better place and no longer sick or suffering with heart and breathing problems.
