Nina, it has been a privilege to know you the last few years of your life. You remained positive, friendly and happy, a joy to spend the day with. I will remember all you shared about your own exciting life, accomplishments and travels. But I will remember your personal stories most fondly and think of you each time I eat a cookie ( and taste the crumbs on my fingernails as you did at that job in your youth at a cookie factory. You needed clean nails for nursing school!) You will be missed by all who knew you, but remembered always. May you rest in peace..... or maybe you would prefer to run through the streets of paradise at top speeds. You will surely break heavens own records if you have wings!

I did not know Nina, but I read her obituary online and I wished I had known her. So many accomplishments and obviously a lovely person. I love reading stories about women who made a difference with their lives. I hope Nina's family is reading this. Her story really touched me.. she must have been a gift in your lives.
Peace to all of you from Kathy McCreedy ... Michigan wife, mother of three girls, who loves to read great personal stories and imagine how one well-lived life can make a difference for those around her and for our world. Kathy McCreedy
