Remembering you May God bless you and your family

While reading the personal recollections of Nino on his tribute page, we are struck by the repeated comments attesting to his affability, kindness, humility and altruism. Our familiarity with Nino came mostly through observing his interactions with his beloved Nonna and parents and above all, listening to their wonderful stories about him. Dear Umberto and Rosa, we know the loss of your son is immeasurable but you must be so proud. You raised Nino to become an authentic human being. All of his values such as love of family, respect for others and work ethic were instilled by both of you. Take comfort in knowing your bond cannot be broken by Ninos passing. He lives on in all the lives he touched, nurtured and loved. You and your entire family remain in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Angelo and Josephine Spina

Lisa, Alexandra, Nino Jr., Stephani, Ana, Ana and family my heart goes out to you during this very difficult time; I know your losses are beyond measure. I met Nino right after storm Sandy at Paperboard Products. When I think of him I think of his sense of humor and resilience. I think his love of family is where he found strength and it propelled him forward to success; where others may have been defeated. I know your very great mutual love will prevail beyond this world. May you find comfort and warmth in your own shared memories in the days ahead. You are in our prayers.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I first met Nino in 1983 when he was a laborer on a gas line project for O&R. I was always impressed with his work ethic and respect for others. It was always a pleasure working with him throughout the years. So sorry for your loss!

Not only have we lost a good friend, the world has lost one of the nicest, happiest and loving men. Nino enjoyed life and we were privileged to have shared some of that enjoyment with him and his wonderful family. We watched many soccer matches together, enjoyed family vacations to Florida, Maine and Vermont and every time we think back to those wonderful memories, Nino is smiling.

He had so many successes in life and had every right to show pride however, he remained his humble, happy self.

Nino's greatest pride was his beautiful family, and they are beautiful inside and out. He and Lisa shared so much love, companionship and cooperation with each other that they were a successful team and their children are evidence of that loving bond.

Our hearts are broken because we have lost one of the happiest and loving people God shared with us. Thank you for coming into our lives and making it brighter, Nino. We'll look for the brightest star in the night sky and blow a kiss to you!

Love, Lisa and Raymer Mcquiston
