Nita Griffin Obituary
Mrs. Griffin died Oct. 21, 2006, in an Overton nursing home.
She was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Bridgeport to the late Olin B. and Margaret Belle Sandefur Goode. She graduated from Bridgeport High School, and worked on Navy bombers at Corpus Christi during World War II. She lived in Dallas prior to moving back to East Texas in 1981. She was a Protestant, and was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Griffin in 1991.
Survivors include son, William "Bill" Griffin, Arp; daughters, Diana Griffin, Overton, and Margaret LaRoe, Springs; six grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
