We have a lot fond memories with jack and Ron over the years travelling together in our motorcoaches with our dogs, where ever we would stop and spend a few days , jack would be ready to hit yard sales and thrift stores and flea markets, so off we would go for hours!

Rest In Peace my friends, you are together once again! Randy & Wayne & Kelowna Sky you’re Canadian friends !

I met Jack and Ron threw our camping club several years ago. The three of us clicked instantly. I enjoyed so many good times with them and after Ron' passing I always looked forward to Jacks summer trips back to Michigan. RIP my friend we shall all camp again some day.

Thank you ( and Ron) for all the wonderful memories Bob, I and my kids will hang onto, of parties & get togethers at your home over the years. ( including our wedding reception). You always opened your home to everyone, the more the merrier. Thank you for rushing Bob to the hospital and keeping Chelsea calm when he lost the tip of his finger. For your endless jokes and one liners...for the gifts of your antique yard sale finds and sharing my love of hidden treasures. I hope you are having a wonderful reunion with Ron and your family till the day they are all reunited once again. RIP! ✝

Jack (and Ron) were our friendly neighbors. We would get together for Dominos and snacks with our other neighbor Dottie. We moved away in January of this year. It has never been the same without seeing Jack and Ruby out for a walk.

Dear Jack I will miss u more then words can express. These past few days I can barely do anything without thinking of you! I’m making a Poke cake this morning and remembered how much you enjoyed making Dump cakes especially the pumpkin one! You would call and if we were unable to get to the phone, your favorite line was “just calling to shoot the poop” I so enjoyed your visits up here the past 2 summers! You would come in from your motor home about 7:30 coffee in hand and we would plan the day ahold. It could have been a yard sale ( oh how you loved yard sales) or a trip to the grocery store. And how you loved to talk to people and they to you! You will always be in my heart❤ R.I.P Jack

One of Jack's outstanding qualities was his innate ability to tell jokes one after another for minutes ! I recall laughing so long and hard that I would literally get a stomach ache. Keep the angels laughing Jack.

Jack, You and Ron were my true friends. My protectors, I truly enjoyed our friendships. It was a pleasure to be your caretaker and friend for you and Ron was my caretaker and friends. You would be glad that your brothers and their wives are being great to me. The whole family has been great to me. I will miss our trips to Burger King and to mass. Ron's family is being great to me 2. The years have flown. I know you and Ron are enjoying Heaven. Ruby misses you all but she will be with Danny and Greg soon. I love you and Ron and please continue to watch after me from up there.

Words cannot express how deeply my Uncle Jack will be missed by me and my children. Uncle Jack and I didn't see eye to eye on some things, but one thing we agreed on is that "real family always comes first". Some of my best childhood memories come from his Christmas parties, where my sisters, cousins, aunts, and uncles would spend the evening laughing and celebrating together. My uncle LOVED his home in Florida, and it meant more to him than some simple brick-and-mortar house. He often spoke of the great people in his community, including his friends, neighbors, and church members. He was proud of how safe and peaceful his community was, standing behind his local Sherriff Department as being the best of the best. He was also active in his church and the community center near his home. I recall him handing out food to families in need during the hardships we all faced in 2020 and how he admired the way his community could come together and support one another. Each time we met for lunch he would tell me stories from the community center and his church and even brought me delicious homemade bread that some of the ladies of the church had baked!

But what I will miss the most, is the ways he both challenged and encouraged me...

When I graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2016, my uncle made it a point to mail me a card to celebrate the accomplishment and congratulate me. He and my late aunt Cheryl were two of my biggest supporters (aside from my parents) as I navigated my way, balancing career and children. Whenever I celebrated success on social media, he was one of the first to like and acknowledge it. Whenever I shared a family or life event, he was one of the first to comment. When my son moved to Florida in 2017 I asked my Uncle to watch over him since he would be so far from home. My uncle would meet up for dinner with Mikey and his girlfriend Veronica, checking in on how they were doing. It meant a lot as a mom to know that I had family in the area that could be there for them. I looked up to my Uncle for his work ethic as well. In 2019 I began to navigate the waters of being a business owner. My uncle would chat with me about my business plans and allow me to bounce ideas off him. He told me stories of his work for Kelsey Hayes, about real estate opportunities that he had wished he'd taken, and decisions he made that affected his career. He also gave me advice on investing when I first began in the stock market. He held hard work, determination, and dedication to your career in high regard- share values that bonded us.

I will miss our conversations deeply. Whether we were arguing about the "bigger picture", pondering the state of the world, or chatting privately about business plans and family stories, the lack of those conversations will be felt for a long time to come. I know that someday we will meet again, with fresh conversations and stories to tell! But until then, I will miss you, Uncle Jack.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. (Psalm 23:4)

He was a wonderful big brother, he taught me many things about life, and helped mold me into the person that I am today! I will never forget our hour plus conversations , we would talk about life , politics , and yes we could disagree about things , but we never got mad at each other! He was an amazing person who went through many trials and tribulations throughout his life without letting things get him down, his sense of humor was second to none , he always had a way to make you laugh ! The last couple of years he would drive his motor home, pulling his car, from Florida to our house in Michigan and stay five to six weeks with us , he was supposed to come up this year and stay , that is until he got sick , Jennifer and I are truly broken hearted, he will be sorely missed! Rest In Peace big brother!
