Noble shared his love of movies with us when we visited the family many years ago. He was going through cancer treatments at the time. I warned my boys that Uncle Noble may get tired and that we may have to leave their house or be quiet if he was resting. Well, Uncle Noble had so much fun sharing old cartoons and movies with my boys that the evening wore on and on, and I was the one who couldn't keep my eyes open! We had such a great visit with my husband's family that summer. My boys will never forget that evening spent watching old movies with Uncle Noble!

Noble was an amazing drama teacher who really helped foster my love of the theatre. I was lucky enough to come back to COS and teach alongside him in the Fine Arts Division. May your star shine bright in Heaven.

I knew Noble by reputation and by personally cruising through the theater now and then to see what was being constructed for a new play or theater work. I never took any of Noble's classes because I too, being an instructor at COS, didn't seem to be able to coordinate my schedule to take his cinema appreciation. BUT that doesn't mean I didn't cross paths, experience his passion and excitement for theater and the love he had for his students and COS. You will be missed, but your legacy will live on through your colleagues and students who loved you as their instructor and friend.

I met Noble in 1999, we shared an office next to each other in the COS Theatre. He was one of the most kindest, caring and funny individuals that I have ever had the pleasure of working with and a true gentleman who always made me feel welcomed and included. Thank you Noble Johnson for being my friend and colleague, may you rest in beautiful peace. To Noble's family, may you find comfort in the memories y'all share, together.

As a student I took his speech class in 1972. He always loved to pull out my papers and grades to remind me what kind of student I was! What amazing memories we made working together on so many COS Musicals. Thank you Noble my friend , I so enjoyed every minute.

I worked with Noble at the Sequoia Drive while I was going to COS. He used to laugh when I referred to him as the "The Noble Mr Johnson".
He was a great human being and being very supportive.
My deepest condolences to his family.
